The CDC recommends one updated (bivalent) booster dose for:
everyone aged 5 years & older if it has been at lease 2 months since the last dose
for children aged 6 months to 4 years who have completed the Moderna primary series & if it has been at least 2 months from their last dose. (There is no booster recommendation for children aged 6 months to 4 years who received the Pfizer vaccine primary series)
