MedDrop Box

Several Lewis Drug and Lewis Family Drug locations have partnered with their respective State Board of Pharmacy and Assured Waste Solutions’ MedDrop Program to take back pharmaceutical waste in a community near you. MedDrop Boxes are DEA approved vaults that provide a safe and convenient way to properly dispose of pharmacy waste. Visit the MedDrop box at your Lewis store to get rid of all expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications.

Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.
